
This is an individual marketing case analysis. Inspired from a cataract afflicted flock of chickens, Optical Distortion Inc. invented a pair of lenses to partially blind the chickens. This was experimented and perfected to alter the behavior of chickens to further eat less and reduce pecking and cannibalization. After patenting the technology and completely eradicating any new competition for the next few years, the company is now looking for a strategy to launch this lens in the market.
